# 백악에서 명륜까지 서울의 봄을 걷다

흔히 봄이 한 해의 시작이라고들 말한다. 얼었던 땅이 풀리고 사방에 돋는 푸른 빛을 보며 새로운 다짐을 하기 때문일 것이다. 내 생각에 봄은 지난한 시절을 견뎌낸 이들에게 주어지는 선물이 아닐까 한다. 

지난 주 백악산에서 명륜동으로 이어지는 한양도성길을 걸었다. 환하게 맞아주는 목련이 지난 봄부터 꽃눈을 키워왔듯이 우리가 살아가는 이 땅의 역사도 혹독한 계절을 건너 마침내 눈부신 봄을 맞이했음을 실감하는 요즘이다.
